Medical School

Ever since I can remember Kenny has said he wanted to be a doctor. He says it all started when he was 8 years old and he was at church listening to some Dr's who came to talk about Mercy ships. He saw pictures of several different children with cleft palates and he remembers feeling so sad for them, he then saw how these Dr.'s were able to help these children and from that moment on he knew he was going to b a Dr, he wanted to help people just like these Dr.'s he had listened to. 8 years later he met me, and this dream just as real now as it was then, and thus this was the start of our journey. The whole 5 years we were dating he would remind me that he is an investment. Not able to give me everything now but some day when he was a Dr he would. I apparently believed him because here we sit in his 3rd year of Medical school!

It all started in November 2008 when we moved to Miami for his first semester, we were there until April of 2009 and then the big move to Dominica of the West Indies in May 2009. We were in Dominica for 16 months from May 2009 until August 2010. While we were there we learned so much about each other, friendships and life. The best 16 months of our life. We could of never even began to image what life long friendships and life lessons we would have learned when we first found out we were going there.
Each and every person we met here will forever be in our lives and we are so blessed to know you all.
We now are in Chicago where Kenny has started his 3rd year of med school doing his clinical rotations.

Here is his schedule:
May 25th- June 29th Psychology
July 5th- August 12th Family Medicine
August 15th- November 4th Internal Medicine
November 7th- January 27th Surgery
January 30th- March 9th OB/GYN
March 12th - April 20th Pediatrics
After these rotations he will start 32 weeks of electives and will graduate in November 2012!
